Generally, Hangung-mal = Korean-language..

I'm always get excited when it comes to Korean-related thingy. From entertainment to food, the people, culture & even the language. As far as I remember, I've been learning Korean language for almost 3 years now. No formal classes or anything. Just learning it all by myself. I guess, self-tutored would be never ending effort to master the language. Hehe... I used to learn basic German before and pretty good at it but it died there when I left school. Noone to practice the language with & the learning material is hard to find here in M'sia. So, German language just become history for me.
Anyway, Hangung-mal is harder to learn than German in terms of writing & pronunciation. I had to learn the basic alphabets & how to write them. To read & construct a word. How to pronounce them correctly since some alphabets are pronounced differently depends on their placement within a word. Luckily, I'm able to read Korean writing now eventhough I don't understand most of the words. Haha!!! I still have a long way to go.... When I watched dramas, I tried to open my ears to learn new words & add them to my vocab list. I tried to sing some songs following printed lyric in Hangul. By doing so, I could train myself to read Hangul faster and sharpen my reading skills..

"Post-it" notes, colourful highlighted words...

My "newbie" Hangul handwriting
Hopefully, I'm able to speak Korean fluently someday. Wish me LUCK!!!!!!
